The contact 7 is provided with a pair of contact members 7a, 7b connected to each other in a state of nipping the insulator 8. The first connection cylinder 2 is provided with an annular part 6 for holding the split clamp 4.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent foreign matter from being mixed into an insulator at a cable end.SOLUTION: After selectively forming a first solder layer 7 in an external conductor 4 of a cable midway part 1b, a coaxial cable 1 is cut into first and second coaxial cables 1A and 1B by cutting the cable midway part 1b having the first solder layer 7 formed thereto. A central conductor 2 is exposed by removing the external conductor 4 and an insulator 5 at cable cutting ends of the respective first and second coaxial cables 1A and 1B. A second solder layer 8 is selectively formed in the central conductor 2 which is exposed at the respective cable cutting ends of the first and second coaxial cables 1A and 1B.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a central contact and anchor connector which are little in environmental load, are satisfactory in elasticity and stress relief characteristics, and constitute a stable connection state, their production method, and their connector structure.
      SOLUTION: The central contact 1 is provided with a connecting cylindrical portion 5 constituted to a cylindrical shape by a Cu alloy containing Si and Zn and not containing Pb. The Cu alloy constituting the connecting cylindrical portion 5 contains 69 to 79mass% Cu and 1.7 to 4.2mass% Si, respectively. The anchor connector 2 is provided with a connecting projecting section 5 which is constituted of the Cu alloy containing Si and Zn and not containing Pb to a projecting shape and has slits 11 extending in an axial direction, which gives elasticity in an axial direction to the section 5. The Cu alloy constituting the connecting projecting section 5 contains 69 to 79mass% Cu and 1.7 to 4.2mass% Si, respectively.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the cost of inner and outer heat resistant layers while allowing the heat resisting layers to function as required by constructing each of the inner and outer heat resisting layers from a flame retardant tape comprising flame retardant paper laminated with polyester resin layers on both sides. CONSTITUTION:This roadside coaxial communication cable A comprises a cable main body 1 and a supporting wire 2 for the main body and integrated in parallel with the main body. The cable main body 1 comprises a magnetic core 3, an inner conductor 4, a heat resisting layer 5, an insulator 6, a heat resisting layer 7, an outer conductor 8 and a cover 9 which are concentrically laid one on top of another in that order from the center of the cable. The conductor 4 is formed by winding an annealed copper wire transversely, the heat resisting layer 5 is formed by winding a flame retardant tape into a spiral, and the insulator 6 is made of a polyethylene resin material. The heat resisting layer 7 is formed by winding a flame retardant tape counterclockwise, the conductor 8 is formed by braiding annealed copper wire and combined filaments together, and the cover 9 is made of a black polyolefin resin material. The supporting wire 2 comprises a wire 10 made of a stranded galvanized steel wire with a cover 11 molded integrally with the cover 9. The heat resisting layers 5, 7 can therefore be fabricated at low cost.
