    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas detector using a pretreatment agent and a detection agent having reactivity with each other.

A measuring sensor 21 is attached to the small-diameter part 6a to detect a concentration of a specified gas, in an exhaust gas sucked from the muffler attachment 2. The detected concentration is displayed on a display 30. The exhaust gas sucked and water drops generated by cooling the exhaust gas are discharged from an opening at the other end of the large-diameter part 6b. In the specified gas measuring instrument, the small-diameter part 6a and the large-diameter part 6b are provided so as to make the measurement of the specified gas not affected by flow-in of air and wind, and by the pulsation (change in the flow rate) of the exhaust gas, by selecting respective lengths and the diameter sizes of the parts 6a, 6b.
