摘要： A communication system including a transmitter, a receiver, and a serial link, in which encoded data (e.g., video, audio, and optionally also other auxiliary data) are transmitted from the transmitter to the receiver. The serial link can but need not be a TMDS or TMDS-like link. In typical embodiments, packets of encoded audio data are transmitted over each of one or more channels of the link during data islands between bursts of encoded video data, a pixel clock is transmitted over the link, and the receiver regenerates a clock for the audio data using time code data in the packets and the pixel clock. Other aspects of the invention are transmitters for transmitting encoded data and a pixel clock over a serial link, receivers for receiving such data and pixel clock and performing audio clock regeneration, and methods for transmitting encoded data and a pixel clock over a serial link and performing clock regeneration using the transmitted data and pixel clock.

摘要： The present invention is a poly(vinylidene chloride) interpolymer composition comprising (1) a copolymer of an alpha olefin and an alkyl ester of an unsaturated carboxylic acid and (2) an interpolymer of vinylidene chloride and vinyl chloride, the copolymer being present in an amount effective to improve meat adhesion of a food casing made from the interpolymer composition having the copolymer as compared with a composition having the same proportions of components as the interpolymer composition but without the added copolymer (hereinafter effective amount). Preferably, the copolymer comprises ethylene and at least one alkyl ester of an unsaturated carboxylic acid. The invention is also a process for preparing a thermoplastic food casing which comprises adding an effective amount of a copolymer of an alpha olefin and an alkyl ester of an unsaturated carboxylic acid to a an interpolymer of vinylidene chloride and vinyl chloride to improve meat adhesion of the food casing. Additionally, the invention is a film comprising an interpolymer of vinylidene chloride and vinyl chloride and an effective amount of a copolymer of an alpha olefin and an alkyl ester of an unsaturated carboxylic acid. The film is preferably used in applications for contacting meat. Additionally, the invention is a combination of a film comprising an interpolymer of vinylidene chloride and vinyl chloride and an effective amount of a copolymer of an alpha olefin and an alkyl ester of an unsaturated carboxylic acid and, adjacent thereto or in contact therewith, a fatty substance, preferably a meat having a fat content, meat product having fat content, or other food having a fat content. In another aspect, the invention is a package useful for meats or other fatty substances comprising an interpolymer of vinylidene chloride and vinyl chloride and an effective amount of a copolymer of an alpha olefin and an alkyl ester of an unsaturated carboxylic acid wherein the package is designed for contact of interpolymer of vinylidene chloride with the meat or fatty substance. In another aspect, the invention is a sausage casing having a film comprising an interpolymer of vinylidene and chloride vinyl chloride and an effective amount of a copolymer of an alpha olefin and an alkyl ester of an unsaturated carboxylic acid. In yet another aspect, the invention is the use of a vinylidene chloride interpolymer composition comprising and interpolymer of vinylidene chloride and vinyl chloride and an effective amount of at least one copolymer of an alpha olefin and an alkyl ester of an ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid in a composition suitable for making a film, the resulting film, a molded article, a package, in each case preferably suitable for contacting or containing a fatty substance or food, preferably in a sausage casing.

摘要： A semiconductor device includes a semiconductor substrate, a film stack formed on the semiconductor substrate and having a film to be processed. A dual hard mask included in the film stack has an amorphous carbon layer and an underlying hard mask layer interposed between the amorphous carbon layer and the film to be processed, the hard mask layer does not include an amorphous carbon layer. A damascene structure for a metal interconnect is formed in the film stack. The amorphous carbon film can, for example, be incorporated within a single damascene structure, or a dual damascene structure. The amorphous carbon film can serve as part of a lithographic mask for forming the interconnect structure, or it may serve as a top layer of a dual hard mask, a chemical mechanical polishing (CMP) stop layer, or a sacrificial layer during CMP.

摘要： A system and method for use with a taxonomy-based search service that locates expanded information based on a query the client has proposed, by performing an automatically expanded branching of the query. The client specifies a starting point (corresponding to an origin node) in the taxonomy along with one or more genealogical directions to expand the search, such as to parent, children and/or sibling nodes. Variables may specify how many generations upward and/or downward should be included in the expanded search. A middle tier receives the request and converts it to the relevant queries needed to query a database that maintains the taxonomy, such that the client receives a result set that contains expanded results without needing any contextual knowledge of the taxonomy. The middle tier may be implemented, for example, in a UDDI-based environment that helps clients locate web services and other information.

摘要： An auger/cut off assembly for a floating screed asphalt paver. The auger/cut off assembly consists of an auger mechanism with an axis of rotation and a cut off mechanism. The cut off mechanism has a concave cut off panel that rotates about the axis of the auger mechanism from an open strike off position to a closed cut off position. Because the concave cut off panel closely conforms to a portion of the circumference of the auger mechanism, the cut off mechanism provides for low ground clearance. The concave cut off panel serves the dual function of striking off the paving material when in the open strike off position and cutting off the deposit of paving material when in the closed cut off position.
