摘要： A system and method for use with a taxonomy-based search service that locates expanded information based on a query the client has proposed, by performing an automatically expanded branching of the query. The client specifies a starting point (corresponding to an origin node) in the taxonomy along with one or more genealogical directions to expand the search, such as to parent, children and/or sibling nodes. Variables may specify how many generations upward and/or downward should be included in the expanded search. A middle tier receives the request and converts it to the relevant queries needed to query a database that maintains the taxonomy, such that the client receives a result set that contains expanded results without needing any contextual knowledge of the taxonomy. The middle tier may be implemented, for example, in a UDDI-based environment that helps clients locate web services and other information.

摘要： An ablation cannula comprising a tubular body, a tip at an end of the tubular body adapted to facilitate the insertion of the cannula into a vein or body cavity, the tip having a distal end, a transducer disposed within the tip, and at least one bore hole in the tip through which a medication or other fluid may be administered, wherein the borehole is separated from the distal end of the tip by a first distance, which may be approximately 2.5 millimeters. The tip may contain at least three boreholes substantially equally spaced around the circumference of the tip. The boreholes may have a diameter of approximately 0.21-0.51 millimeters. Additional configurations are described herein. The transducer is preferably a radio frequency transducer, and an insulative material may be disposed on a selected portion of the tip to attenuate energy emitted from the radio frequency transducer through the insulative material.

摘要： In general terms, embodiments of the present invention relate to methods and apparatuses for cleaning, grooming, and otherwise maintaining sand and sandy surfaces. For example, some embodiments of the present invention provide an apparatus for cleaning a sandy surface, where the sandy surface includes unsifted sand, and where the unsifted sand includes sand and unwanted material. In some embodiments, the apparatus includes: (a) one or more frames; (b) a conveyor carried by the one or more frames and including a first portion and a second portion, where the conveyor is configured to transport the unsifted sand from the first portion towards the second portion; (c) at least one paddle carried by the one or more frames and configured to direct the unsifted sand from the sandy surface towards the conveyor; and (d) a sifter carried by the one or more frames and configured to: (i) receive the unsifted sand from the conveyor; (ii) prevent the unwanted material from passing through the sifter; and (iii) allow the sand to pass through the sifter.
