    • The present invention pertains to a connector arrangement (14) for an automotive steering system with a control unit (12), designed so as to ensure a low production cost and a reliable operation. Furthermore, the connector arrangement (14) as well as the control unit (12) assigned to it are designed in such a way that on the latter (12), installed as an ancillary equipment (12) on the internal combustion engine of a vehicle, various separate coupling plugs (21-23) are mounted, with contact elements which can be acceded to from outside, of which some (23) are high power contact elements (29) directly interconnected through bus bars (39) running inside the control unit (12).
