The invention relates to a braking system and a vehicle with braking system and in particular relates to 2 such black system and vehicular with black system wherein the main braking system and the secondary braking system are separate. According to a first aspect, disclosed is a secondary braking system for a commercial vehicle, comprising: a rotary deceleration force generating element fixed to or being part of and thus rotating conjointly with a wheel of the vehicle, and a stationary deceleration force generating element that is indirectly or directly fixed in a manner to a chassis of the vehicle that prohibits the stationary decelerating force generating element to rotate with the rotary deceleration force generating element, wherein the stationary deceleration force generating element is configured to transmit a braking force Fb onto the rotary deceleration force generating element, and the stationary deceleration force generating element is independent from a main braking system of the commercial vehicle.
