PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting tool device having a holding table for holding a workpiece, which is capable of preventing any incorrect detection of the height including the thickness of cutting scraps as the height position of a holding face of the holding table.SOLUTION: The holding table 40 of the cutting tool device 10 includes a frame 42 having a chip drop part 43 with an outer peripheral side of a holding part 44 being formed lower than a holding face, and a reference pin 46 arranged on the chip drop part 43 and having a reference surface at the same level as the holding face 45, and further includes a thickness detection means 50 which detects the upper surface level position of a workpiece to be held by the holding table 40, and detects the thickness of the workpiece by detecting the reference surface level position of the reference pin 46. The thickness detection means 50 includes a workpiece height position detector 52 having a workpiece contact part 52b, and reference surface level position detector 51 having a reference surface contact pin 51b. The thickness of the workpiece can be correctly calculated from the results of detection of the height position by the detectors 51, 52.
