    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting tool device which can effectively remove cutting chips from a workpiece during a cutting process.SOLUTION: The cutting tool device includes a fluid supply means which supplies a fluid to a cutting edge of a cutting means, a horizontal travel means which causes a chuck table to travel linearly in the horizontal direction so that the chuck table moves closer to and away from the cutting means, and a chuck table cover 44 which covers a travel path for the horizontal travel means. The fluid supply means has a jet nozzle which when a workpiece held on the chuck table is cut in a rotating motion by the cutting means, jets the fluid from the rear side to the front side in a cutting-progressing direction in which cutting work progresses. The rear side of the upper surface of the chuck table cover in the cutting-progressing direction is set at a first height for guiding the fluid from the fluid supply means to the workpiece held on a bearing surface of the chuck table, and the front side of the same is set at a second height lower than the height in the rear side in the cutting-progressing direction.
