    • Methods and systems of pre-balancing a switched capacitor converter are provided. A first comparator includes a positive input configured to receive a voltage across an output capacitor and a negative input configured to receive a first hysteresis voltage. A second comparator includes a positive input configured to receive a voltage across an input capacitor of the switched capacitor converter and a negative input configured to receive a second hysteresis voltage. A first current source is coupled between the output capacitor and GND and is configured to discharge the output capacitor upon determining that the voltage across the output capacitor is above a tolerance provided by the first hysteresis voltage. A second current source is coupled between the input capacitor and GND and is configured to discharge the input capacitor upon determining that the voltage across the input capacitor is above a tolerance provided by the second hysteresis voltage.

    • An amplifier system can include a feedback amplifier, a feedback capacitor connected between an input terminal and an output terminal of the amplifier by at least one first switch, and a reset capacitor connected across the feedback capacitor by at least one second switch and between a pair of reference voltages by at least one third switch. During an input-signal processing phase, a control circuit may close and open the first and second switches, respectively, to electrically connect the feedback capacitor between the input and output terminals to engage feedback processing, and close the third switch to electrically connect the reset capacitor between the first and second voltages to charge the reset capacitor. During a reset phase, the control circuit may open the first and third switches, and close the second switch, to electrically connect the reset capacitor across the feedback capacitor to reset the feedback capacitor.

    • A method and system are disclosed for controlling electrical current through an inductive load. The electrical current is supplied by one of at least three selectable dual capacitor bank electrical circuits. The method includes storing electrical energy during a charge operating state in first and second capacitor banks of a first dual capacitor bank circuit. The stored electrical energy is then used to drive the inductive load when operating the first dual capacitor bank circuit in a drive operating state. After depleting the stored electrical energy from the first and second capacitor banks, the first dual capacitor bank transitions to a collection operating state that includes collecting electrical energy from the inductive load. A second and third dual capacitor circuits simultaneously transition among the charge operating state, the drive operating state, and the collection operating state during operation.
