Der Gegenstecker (2) besitzt steckseitig seines Gewindeabschnitts (23) eine nach innen gerichtete umlaufende oder unterbrochene Rastnase (22). Somit brauchen die Rastarme (13, 513) den Gewindeabschnitt (23) nicht zu durchgreifen. Die Rastarme (13, 513) können daher besonders stark ausgeführt sein und das Innengewinde kann durchgehend (nicht segmentiert) ausgeführt sein. Die Haltekräfte der Verriegelung/ Verschraubung sind dadurch sehr hoch und die Rastarme (13) können zur vereinfachten Herstellung beispielsweise an einen Kunststoffisolierkörper (100) angeformt und einstückig damit ausgeführt sein. Die Bedienung und Fertigung werden durch die Erfindung erheblich vereinfacht.

摘要： A connector assembly for charging electric vehicles, the assembly includes a connector (a) and the receptacle (b) having shapes that helps in self-alignment. Some shapes proposed are conical or pyramidal shapes with three or more sides. The receptacle has a shape which is complementary with the shape of the connector. Further the connector includes poles (5) that can protrude from its base in order to fix the connector once mated in the receptacle. The receptacle optionally includes an apex extendable contact (6) helping in disengagement. Further the connector can include intelligence in order to handle the power transfer from the charging station to the vehicle. This can also help for applying the adequate polarity. Further the assembly can include optical alignment features for a robotic manipulation of the coupling.
