    • A single gun (10) color cathode ray tube (CRT) having a screen consisting of alternating red, blue and green vertical phosphor strips (34, 36, 38) in groups of three, with strips of conductive or photovoltaic material (16, 22, 28) overlaying each phosphor strip, or placed between adjacent phosphor strips.
