    • The invention relates to a turbomachine having passive rotor blade adjustment. The invention is characterized by the combined adjustment of angle of incidence, curvature, and twist of rotor blades (3, 4) that are flexurally elastic in themselves or segmented. The passive characteristic is achieved by design by means of a two-point bearing of the rotor blades on the machine shaft (1) and on a blade bearing ring (2) that is freely movable along an adjustment path. The adjusting force results from the dynamic equilibrium among centrifugal force, spring moment, torque, and fluid dynamic moment. One of the bearings (3a, 4a) forms the pivot point and the other the base point of the adjustment process. The invention can be designed as an axial or radial turbomachine for all common fluids and for repeller operation and propeller operation. The invention achieves a significant characteristic curve improvement compared to known uncontrolled embodiments or embodiments that control only the angle of incidence of the rotor blades. In particular, the starting behavior, the power dynamics, and the average power are improved. The advantages of the invention can be especially significant in ocean wave (oscillating water column) power plants and tidal current power plants. There is further potential in the field of rotational-speed-controlled driven machines having a particular need for optimization.
