摘要： The invention concerns a valve tappet which is actuated by the cam of an internal combustion engine and comprises a cup (1) having a hollow cylindrical shell (2) and a base (3) which closes the end of the shell (2). On the exterior, the shell (2) has a peripheral groove (4) and, on the interior, it is provided with at least one bead (5, 21). Disposed concentrically inside the cup (1) is an inner part (6) of which the casing (9) abuts the bead (5, 21). A hydraulic valve clearance compensating element (10) is guided in an axially movable manner inside the inner part (6). In order to facilitate the production of this valve tappet, the cup (1) is hardened in a heat-treatment process and the inner part (6) is unhardened.
