    • A method and a device for control and guidance of the extent of an injection zone across its longitudinal direction by jet injection of a curable binder in soils at the site to provide carrying or supporting structures, e.g. piles, piers, panels, shields, preferably of cement, with use of a jet injection head (A) provided on a rod and comprising an upper nozzle (11) for a jet of water surrounded by air, and a lower nozzle (13) for injection of said curable binder. Jet injection head (A) provided with excavating blades (17) is used to excavate a pilot hole (P) in the soil. During slow lifting and injecting a water/air jet the soil in pilot hole (P) is broken up and said hole is enlarged to an injection zone (I) having a larger cross section. Said curable binder is injected via nozzle (13). Emitter/receiver equipment (12) between nozzles (11 and 13) emits and receives signals that are reflected by the walls of injection zone (I). The reflected processed signals provide a continuous graphic representation on a display (14) of the shape and extent of injection zone (I) and, thus, of the formed carrying or supporting structure (K) during injection work.

    • This invention relates to a method and a device for soil consolidation, where a consolidating additive is brought into the earth, said additive being mixed with the soil in order to form a consolidated zone. Said additive is introduced into the earth (2) in connection with a processor (3) moving forwards essentially in the horizontal direction, so that a consolidated vein structure extending essentially in the horizontal direction is formed in the wake (4) left behind in the earth (2) by said processor (3). The device comprises a pulling share (11) penetrating into the earth and moving in an essentially horizontal direction, and at the lower end of said pulling share there is a movable softening device or processor (3) for forming a processed wake (4) in the earth.
