    • The present invention relates to a vertical current-switching device for water-treatment channels such as artificial wetlands, reaction tanks which take the form of water-treatment channels, water channels which provide connections between water-treatment facilities, and ecological channels; the vertical current-switching device being devised so as to be able to exchange the treatment water flow in an upper part and the treatment water flow in a lower part of the water channel, not only without a separate bypass channel but also without any pressurizing or water pumping facility; wherein the upper part and the lower part of the water channel each comprise a pair of inclined transverse plates which are provided transverse to the water channel at a predetermined incline and are provided symmetrically to each other about their mutual central line, and a pair of triangular flat plates connecting the lower edge of the upper inclined transverse plate and the upper edge of the lower inclined transverse plate. The present invention allows straightforward and rapid construction of vertical current-switching water channels and hence makes it possible to obtain the advantageous effect that water-treatment efficiency is improved by employing the unpowered vertical current-switching water channel in water-treatment facilities of diverse types.

    • The invention relates to a method for dredging without the significant causing of pollution nor significant consumption of water. The invention concerns the field of civil engineering, the dredging of impoundments and of watercourses. Common techniques have a number of drawbacks among which: waste pollutants, considerable consumption of water, and difficulty in manipulating the displaced silt. The inventive device is preferably characterized by the combination of the following processes that rectify the aforementioned drawbacks: vibrating the silt to be treated; cutting the silt by a cutter at a speed sufficient for obtaining, while adding water, a homogeneous mixture; pumping the mixture; injecting a flocculation product that causes, at the moment of release, the segregation of the mixture; release or recuperate clean water; manipulating, without hydraulic drive, and reusing the flocculated silt. Variants consist of modifying, according to the specific case, the relative impact of diverse combined processes. The inventive method is particularly suited for dredging dammed lakes.
