摘要： A device for heating plates of glass (3) which are hardened or deformed, comprising two ceramic heating plates (1) between which a plate of glass (3) is arranged. Compensation plates (20) are associated with the heating plates (1) at a distance therefrom, in addition to heaters (6) which are arranged close thereto. The heaters (6) are accommodated in housings (11) which are defined on one side of the heating plates (1). Holes (8) are provided in the heating plates (1). Gas is fed through said holes into the housing between the heating plates (1) and the compensating plates (2). 摘要： The present disclosure relates to a process for cutting and separating arbitrary shapes of thin substrates of transparent materials, particularly tailored composite fusion drawn glass sheets, and the disclosure also relates to a glass article prepared by the method. The developed laser method can be tailored for manual separation of the parts from the panel or full laser separation by thermally stressing the desired profile. The self-separation method involves the utilization of an ultra-short pulse laser that can be followed by a CO 2 laser (coupled with high pressure air flow) for fully automated separation.

摘要： Disclosed is an apparatus and method for heat treating glass sheets, and in particular for heat treating very thing glass sheets arranged in closely spaced stacks. The glass sheets are positioned on a moving belt such that their major surfaces are substantially perpendicular to a direction of belt travel through the apparatus to aid in producing a uniform temperature profile within the glass sheets. The apparatus comprises air curtains positioned at the inlet and outlet of the apparatus to minimize the ingress of particulate into the apparatus. A reduced velocity of heated air flow within a lower portion of the apparatus relative to a velocity of the heated air in an upper portion of the apparatus causes particulate to drop out of the lower portion air flow. A rotating brush and vacuums positioned adjacent a lower portion of the belt assist in removing particulate from the moving belt.

摘要： This laser cutting process makes use of a short pulse laser in combination with optics that generate a focal line to fully perforate the body of a range of ion-exchangeable glass compositions. The glass is moved relative to the laser beam to create perforated lines that trace out the shape of any desired parts. The glass may be cut pre-ion exchange, or may be cut post-ion exchange. The laser creates hole-like defect zones that penetrate the full depth the glass, of approximately 1 micron in diameter. These perforations or defect regions are generally spaced from 1 to 15 microns apart.
