摘要： Process for treating and regenerating spent aqueous solutions of caustic soda from purification and cleansing of petroliferous products, comprising the following steps in combination: optional deoiling said spent solution of caustic soda; optional initial filtering the resulting solution, optionally deoiled; oxidizing the resulting solution, optionally deoiled and filtered, with ozone in a quantity at least stoichiometric with respect to the pollutants to be removed; final filtering the solution resulting from the ozonizing; and recovering and reusing the solution of caustic soda thus regenerated and clarified, with pH > >14 and with a free caustic soda titer of up to twice that of the starting spent solution of caustic soda. The invention also relates to the regenerated solution of caustic soda obtained with the abovementioned process, and to an apparatus suitable for carrying out such process.

In some embodiments, the acid is produced in a reactor. In some embodiments, dissolving at least a portion of ash in acid produces refined silica (SiO2) (e.g., amorphous silica, substantially pure silica, and/or a substantial amount of silica). According to certain embodiments, the ash can be further processed (e.g., using electro winning, pH- based precipitation, and/or electrorefining) to obtain other components instead of or in addition to refined silica.

摘要： The disclosure relates to methods for preparing lithium hydroxide. For example, such methods can comprise mixing a lithium-containing material with an acidic aqueous composition optionally comprising lithium sulfate and thereby obtaining a mixture; roasting the mixture under suitable conditions to obtain a roasted, lithium-containing material; leaching the roasted material under conditions suitable to obtain a first aqueous composition comprising lithium sulfate; submitting the first aqueous composition comprising lithium sulfate to an electromembrane process under suitable conditions for at least partial conversion of the lithium sulfate into lithium hydroxide and to obtain a second aqueous composition comprising lithium sulfate, the electomembrane process involving a hydrogen depolarized anode; optionally increasing concentration of acid in the second aqueous composition; and using the second aqueous composition comprising lithium sulfate as the acidic aqueous composition optionally comprising lithium sulfate for mixing with the lithium-containing material and to obtain the mixture.

摘要： In order to remove aluminum from the reflux liquors from the pickling process of extrusion dies and to regenerate the NaOH solution for re-employing the same in subsequent pickling processes, the process of synthesizing of zeolites is exploited, by previously adding a suitable source of silicon, said process of synthesis allowing the sodium hydroxide solution to be recovered and a more easily disposable mud not harmful for the environment to be obtained, which mud, if found to be of industrial interest, can be recovered and re-employed.
