摘要： Illustrative embodiments of locator systems and methods for hose clamps are disclosed. In at least one embodiment, a locator tab for a hose clamp includes a main body, a clamp end, and at least one flange. The main body includes a crossbar having opposing first and second ends, a first leg extending from the first end, and a second leg extending from the second end. The clamp end extends from the main body and is configured to be secured to a hose. The at least one flange extends from the main body and is configured to retain a band of the hose clamp between the at least one flange and the crossbar until the band is tightened around the hose. The crossbar is non-parallel to the band when the band is retained between the at least one flange and the crossbar.

In one embodiment, the metallic locking head comprising a strap entry notch (40). In another embodiment, the metallic locking head comprises a strap entry notch and a strap exit notch (46). In operation, the configuration of the notches, singularly or in tandem, serve to reduce the band thread force in the elongate metallic strap when the elongate metallic strap is inserted into the metallic locking head a second (and subsequent) time.

In accordance with aspects of the present disclosure, the removable cable tie generally includes an elongate web, a first tooth and a second tooth projecting bilaterally from the web, and a retaining portion positioned at a first end of the web comprising a first leg and a second leg spaced apart to form a c-shaped pocket. The pocket is configured to receive the web and allow sliding movement of the web in a first direction, while preventing the sliding movement of the web in a second direction opposite the first direction. In some configurations, the cable tie may be disassembled and reused by twisting the web within the pocket to release the web.

摘要： A cable tie includes a band that extends lengthwise from a first end to a second end. The cable tie also includes a housing, affixed near the second end, with a first opening to receive the first end of the band when the first end of the band is brought toward the housing in a loop. The housing includes: walls that enclose a space and have a stop toward the second end of the band; a first mass in the space; and a second mass placed in the space and between the first mass and the stop. When the first end is inserted into the housing, the first end passes under the first mass and the second mass and exerts a pull on the first mass toward the second mass. When the first mass is pulled toward the second mass, the second mass acts as a spring between the first mass and the stop and prevents the first mass from hitting the stop. After the first end is inserted into the housing and when the first end is being pulled out of the housing, due to a force exerted by the second mass to the first mass and the walls, the first mass squeezes the first end against the bottom of the housing and locks the first end in the housing.
