    • An apparatus (11) for decorating an object (O) with a heat transfer label. In use, an infeed conveyor (27) delivers the object (O) into the turret (13). The turret (13) rotatably advances the object (O) to the transfer station (21) where the label transfer system (19) transfers the label onto the object (O). Upon completion of the decoration of the object (O), the turret (13) rotatably advances the labeled object (OL) to the post-treatment station (25). At the post-treatment station (25), the labeled object (OL) is inflated with air and the contact heater (23) is displaced laterally into selective contact with the labeled object (OL). Upon completion of the post-treatment of the labeled object (OL), the turret (13) rotatably advances the labeled object (OL) to an outfeed conveyor which delivers the labeled object (OL) away from the turret (13).

    • The invention concerns a device for setting sleeves on objects moving past, said sleeves being sectioned from a continuous sheath (13) passing on a shaping device opening the floating sheath. The invention is characterised in that the rollers (30, 31) lowering the sheath and the rollers (32, 33) ejecting the cut off sheath section (15) are driven in rotation by associated electric motors (41; 42, 43) whereof the control is synchronously produced by a common electronic programmer (50) arranged for determining a continuous profile of speed variation so as to control the lowering of each sheath section, said programmer including at least a control card (55) co-operating with an adjacent encoder (47) mounted at the end of a shaft (46) driven in rotation by a central gear motor (40, 45). The resulting synchronisation enables to obtain very high speeds with a sleeve diameter hardly greater than the maximal diameter of the objects.
