摘要： A machine for packing elongate bags for use with a waste disposal apparatus is disclosed herein. The machine comprises means for holding a reel of flexible tubing, the flexible tubing wound on the reel as a film having two parallel edges, the flexible tubing, when opened, forming a ring of elongate flexible tubing having an aperture at at least one end. The machine also comprises a pair of gripping means configured to engage and grip a region proximate to each edge of the film and draw the film of flexible tubing off of the reel, and a jig configured to be inserted into the aperture and hold a portion of the film in a ring around the jig, the jig configured to hold the film adjacent to and in engagement with the gripping means. Operation of the gripping means causes the film of elongate flexible tubing to be drawn over the jig and to be gathered in a ring of compacted flexible tubing around a base of the jig.

摘要： An apparatus for sealing prepared medications in enclosures includes a tubular sleeve having an open first end, an open second end, and an outer surface. The first end includes at least one first locking member for securely attaching the tubular sleeve to another member. The apparatus also includes a length of a flexible packaging sleeve that is open at one end and has an open interior space. The packaging sleeve is disposed about the outer surface of the tubular sleeve in a compressed form. The open end of the sleeve is sealingly attached to the first end of the tubular sleeve. A tensioner device is disposed about an outer surface of the packaging sleeve and includes a first section that couples the first end of the packaging sleeve to the tubular sleeve and at least two elongated tensioner arms that extend along a length of the tubular sleeve. The compressed packaging sleeve is disposed underneath the tensioner arms such that the tensioner arms apply tension to the packaging sleeve and control the unfurling thereof from the tubular sleeve. The open first end of the tubular sleeve is in communication with the open interior space of the packaging sleeve.

The irises gather the netting around the material, the first clipper cuts and closes the netting, and the handle maker forms a loop out of the severed netting. 摘要： Waste disposal device including a container (12) with a waste storage chamber (12a) and a cartridge (24) therein with contains a length of flexible tubing (34) for encapsulating waste packages (74). A retention mechanism (72) holds the waste package. A rotation mechanism causes relative rotation between the cartridge and the retention mechanism to form a twist above the waste package, thereby encapsulating the waste package in the tubing. Encapsulation of the waste package prevents the release of odors and provides a convenient and sanitary disposal of the waste. A series of encapsulated waste packages is created in the container, each package contained within a portion of tubing and sealed at each end by the twisting process. Once encapsulated, the waste package is urged further into the container upon subsequent insertion of another waste package or by a compacting mechanism (248) which rolls the encapsulated waste packages into a compacted roll.
