摘要： A wall-covering sheet substrate web comprising in sequence a pressure sensitive adhesive layer, substrate layer, decorative surface layer and a release surface. The web is self-wound into a roll by consecutive winding, the adhesive layer of one winding being received on the release surface of the adjacent winding. The product has an initial adhesion (peel) strength to steel no greater than 7N/25 mm and the adhesion to steel after 24 hours dwell time is at least 5N/25 mm and no greater than 12N/25 mm. The invention also provides a web which can be adhered to a polymer-coated wallcovering. The adhesive layer of the web comprises an adhesive which is plasticizer resistant such that the adhesive retains 70 % of its adhesion strength after contact with a PVC wallcovering at 23 +/- 2 DEG C for 3 weeks.

摘要： This invention relates to a method for manufacturing laminated decorative plates. Specifically, an extruded copolyester film is used for bonding a veneer to core material. The veneer is bonded to core material by thermocompression or by radio frequency energy at a temperature that does not exceed 75 % of the melting point of the copolyester film in order to protect the veneer. This method prevents cracking or chipping of the veneer and allows boards with excellent adhesiveness to be produced.

摘要： A process for producing a decorative laminated sheet, used preferably for producing a furniture or wall lining. A disadvantage of such decorative laminated sheets is that they are not suitable for open-air applications because their surfaces lack resistance to weather conditions. The purpose of the invention is to provide a weather-resistant decorative laminated sheet. A fluid weather-resistant protective layer (4) of resin is applied to the surface of the decorative paper web (3) forming the decorative surface of the sheet. The resin chosen can be cross-linked by adding an additive or under the influence of air and light, thus forming a durable and cohesive protective layer (4).

摘要： A process is disclosed for producing objects with a three-dimensional surface structure. A substrate is printed, at least one of the printing inks being lacquer-repellent, and the printed substrate is then lacquered with a radiation-curable lacquer that contains no aminoplastic resin and contains (A) 18 to 99.9 % by weight of an epoxy acrylate, a polyether acrylate or a polyester acrylate; (B) 0.1 to 5.0 % by weight of a Brönsted acid on an acid anhydride; (C) 0 to 12 % by weight of a photo-initiator; (D) 0 to 40 % by weight water or at least one organic solvent; (E) 0 to 10 % by weight of a possibly ethoxylated and/or propoxylated polyol with 2 to 50 C atoms in the molecule; and (F) 0 to 30 % by weight other auxiliairies and additives. The lacquer layer thus applied is then cured with high energy radiation.

摘要： The invention concerns a plastics-paper composite which substantially consists of a paper layer (5), a polypropylene layer (6) and a polyester layer (7), the polyester layer forming one of the two surface layers of the plastics-paper composite. This plastics-paper composite is used to produce weatherproof laminated sheets (13) with surface protection, an acrylate layer (8, 11) being applied to the polyester layer of the plastics-paper composite. This composite is stacked on one or both sides with a plurality of papers impregnated with synthetic resin to form a stack, the acrylate layer(s) lying against the outermost paper layer(s) (9). This stack is then pressed at high pressure and high temperature. For use, the surface protection is removed from the acrylate layer as from the polyester layer.

摘要： The invention relates to the provision of coatings for articles, said coatings provided to enhance the visual appearance of articles such as furniture, doors, sporting goods or in general any articles made from a relatively cheap material where the appearance can be enhanced by providing a coating thereon. Typically the coatings can be provided to give the appearance that the article has been manufactured from a more expensive material, to provide advertising material thereon or generally to provide a more pleasing appearance to the eye by providing features and shapes which are not normally present or achievable with conventional coatings. The invention provides a coating formed of a plastic sheet material to which has been applied at least one ink pattern which is viewable and said ink pattern is applied and the sheet material is of sufficient flexibility to enhance the appearance of the article and also to mimic the effect of contour changes of the article by pressing the coating in register with the article. There is also provided a method of manufacturing the coating of the invention and of applying the coating to the articles and provides a coating which is both novel known coating methods and provides increases flexibility and scope of visual and/or tactile effects which can be created.
