摘要： According to the inventive method for recovering pure PVC from pre-reduced mixtures of substances containing PVC, the mixture of substances is steeped in a swelling agent for PVC and conveyed, under pressure, into a device comprising at least two series-connected hydrocyclones (15, 24). In the first hydrocyclone (15), a heavy fraction consisting of impurities is separated in the bottom flow and a light fraction consisting of swollen PVC particles and light impurities and plastic particles is separated in the top flow. The pre-purified light fraction is graded (23) and the particle fraction with the swollen PVC particles and the smaller plastic particles is fed to the second hydrocyclone (24), where the PVC particles are separated in the bottom flow. The invention also relates to a device for carrying out this method.

In order to provide a reliable, fast process for the separation of water-swellable fibers from other textile fibers which are similar in density, it is proposed, that the aqueous solution (7) is an alkaline aqueous solution (7) and the target component fibers (51) are swelled in the alkaline aqueous solution (7) prior to step b), thereby increasing the density and weight of said target component (21) relative to the density and weight of the ancillary component (22).
