摘要： A head for a water filter cartridge has a cap with an open end configured to mate with a filter body. An axial tube extends along the cap's longitudinal axis. First and second lateral tubes extend laterally from the cap. The first lateral tube intersects the first axial tube and places those tubes in fluid communication. The second lateral tube intersects the cap to place the second lateral tube in fluid communication with an inside of the cap. The first and second lateral tubes have a sidewall opening to allow fluid communication with a manifold. A tubular fitting intersects at least one of the cap or first lateral tube and is on the longitudinal axis, aligned with the first axial tube. The fitting has a closed end which, when removed, allows flushing of the axial tube and an attached filter.

摘要： The invention relates to a filter device for microfiltration of oil, in particular for use in engines, automatic transmissions and hydraulic applications. The filter device comprises a tubular microfilter cartridge through which medium can flow in the transverse direction and which has open ends. This filter cartridge is accommodated in a filter chamber which is enclosed by a filter housing and is accommodated between two end closure elements, between which the filter cartridge is clamped under prestress. On their surface facing towards the filter cartridge, the end closure elements are provided with at least one rib which extends in the transverse circumferential direction of the filter cartridge. The holding means comprise a spring which acts with prestress on one of the end closure elements, in such a manner that this closure element follows the end wall which it adjoins in the event of longitudinal expansion and also in the event of longitudinal contraction.

摘要： A manifold and filter assembly for use with a waste collection unit is provided. The manifold and filter assembly directs and filters medical waste flowing into the waste collection unit. The manifold and filter assembly comprises a manifold body defining a chamber and an outlet (19) for directing the medical waste into the waste collection unit. A manifold cap (46) is fitted to the manifold body to close the chamber. The manifold cap defines a plurality of inlets (48) for receiving the medical waste. A filter basket (20) having a bottom and a peripheral wall (30) defining a plurality of openings (42) is snap-locked to the manifold body. The filter basket (20) is positioned such that a fluid bypass (28) is formed between the filter basket (20) and the manifold body and between the filter basket (20) and the manifold cap (46). The fluid bypass (28) is in fluid communication with the outlet whereby the medical waste can flow over the peripheral wall (30) to the outlet (19) through the fluid bypass.
