摘要： The present disclosure is directed to an apparatus for an improved ultrasound eye scanning device wherein the size of the scan head is reduced significantly and the entire instrument can be placed on a desktop. The improved ultrasound eye scanning device also utilizes imaging goggles to enable better coupling between the patient and the instrument. The imaging goggles also allow both eyes of the patient to be scanned without the patient moving. Another innovation of the ultrasound imaging system according to the present disclosure is the use of the contralateral (opposite) eye for fixation and focusing during scanning.

摘要： A method of deception detection, assessing operational risk or optimizing learning is based upon ocular information of a subject by providing a video camera configured to record a close-up view of a subject's eye. The ocular information is processed to identify changes in ocular signals of the subject through the use of convolutional neural networks. Changes in ocular signals are evaluated from the convolutional neural networks by a machine learning algorithm. Results can then be presented in regards to the level of deception, the level of operational risk or the best way to optimize learning. The methods are facilitated by identifying at least one predictive distortion identified in the stroma capturable solely with a visible-spectrum camera correlating to a predicted response in the iris musculature.

摘要： The devices and methods described herein provide improved methods for accurately identifying and locating the visual axis of the eye and its intersection with the iris plane. In one embodiment, a visual axis identification system includes a fixation light source, a camera, and a processing system. During operation thereof, the patient focuses their gaze onto two or more fixation light spots provided by the fixation light source upon an optical axis thereof, which creates two or more corresponding images on or near to the patient's retina. The patient's head is then rotated relative while the patient continuously maintains their gaze on the fixation light spots. The patient's visual axis may be located by determining the location of the optical axis of the fixation light source relative to the patient's eye when the centers of the multiple images coincide in the patient's view.

摘要： A medical ophthalmic system uses a patient-specific face mask to establish a predefined alignment between the ophthalmic system and an eye of a patient. The patient- specific face mask may optionally provide a light proof enclosure for the eye. The face mask may be coupled directly to an ophthalmic device, or its housing/enclosure, of the ophthalmic system. The face mask may be 3D printed based on a 3D model of the patient's face.
