摘要： An exemplary retaining assembly for a ball lock pin includes a bushing assembly configured to attachably engage an object. The bushing assembly has an inner surface and an outer surface. The inner surface defines an engagement portion configured to receive locking balls urged therein in engagement. The outer surface is configured to be received within the object. The bushing assembly can include any suitable bushing member as desired, such as a press fit bushing, a serrated press fit bushing, a diamond knurl bushing, a key insert bushing, a template bushing, and the like. The bushing assembly can be a lock bushing configured to receive therein a lock ring. The lock ring can be inserted into the lock bushing and around a tapered portion of a shaft of a ball lock pin to help prevent the ball lock pin from being removed from the bushing assembly.

摘要： A power actuator ässembly for a latch includes first and second articulated levers (24, 30). The first lever includes cam follower surfaces (32A, 3213) and the second lever includes at least one stop member (28) which pivots between first and second positions as each lever (24, 30) travels between first and second positions. A motor-driven cam (16) having driving members (18A, 1813) and stop members (20A, 2013) drives the first (24) lever. More particularly, each driving member (18A, 1813) has a path of travel that engages one of the cam follower surfaces (32A, 3213) for a portion of the travel path to drive the first and second levers and is in disengaging alignment with the cam follower for another portion of travel. The cam stop members (20A, 2013) abut the stop member (28) of the second lever (30) when the cam driving members (18A, 1813) are in the non-aligned position, whereby the levers may be activated without driving the cam (16). The assembly can be employed, inter alia, in a lock application or a power release application so as to preclude the necessity of having to backdrive the power actuator.

The second ball (84) is of sufficiently soft material so that the cable (14) when pulled digs into the second ball (84) to increase the jamming force against the cable (14).

摘要： Magnetic decoupler (10) for use with an antitheft device. In one preferred embodiment, the decoupler includes a composite permanent magnet comprising an annular permanent magnet (12) that may be of ceramic and a second, preferably dis-shaped permanent magnet (14), which is preferably more strongly magnetized than the annular magnet and which preferably comprises a rare earth element. The two magnets are coaxially aligned with but axially displaced from each other and are oriented with the opposite polarity so as to create a region of especially great magnetic flux in the bore of the annular magnet. A cover plate (24), preferably of cold-rolled steel, may be provided adjacent the face of the annular magnet that is remote from the second magnet to further concentrate the flux in the bore.
