摘要： One embodiment described herein provides a system and method for facilitating user access to encryption keys stored within a hardware module. During operation, a server coupled to the hardware module receives a key request from the user, the key request comprising a user identifier and a key identifier. The server receives a voice message from the user, extracts voice features from a voiceprint associated with the received voice message, looks up voice features stored within the hardware module based on the user identifier, and compares the extracted voice features with the voice features stored within the hardware module. In response to the extracted voice features matching the stored voice features, the server retrieves from the hardware module an encryption key based on the user identifier and the key identifier.

The data-carrying device is described as being capable of communicating via the Near Field Communications (NFC) protocol and may have one or more NFC Data Exchange Format (NDEF) records stored in its memory. The data-carrying device also comprises or has the ability to generate a signature that proves the data-carrying device is the authorized device for storing the one or more NDEF records. A data-carrying device that attempts to transmit an NDEF record without a valid signature may be identified as an unauthorized data-carrying device.

The embodiments also disclose the reversal process of decrypting the sent message carried out at the receiver device.

The Elliptic Curve Pintsov-Vanstone Signature scheme is modified through the use of authenticated encryption, thereby enabling authentication using a message authentication code (1028). The authenticated encryption may be performed within a single function or as two separate functions. The authenticated encryption may also be applied to associated data in the message (104) to be signed.

摘要： High-precision local search is performed on the Internet. A map image-rendering software provider embeds spatial keys into maps, which are then provided to producers of Internet content such as map providers. For example, a homeowner may post a message on a web bulletin board advertising his house for sale, and including a map showing the location of the house. When a search engine's web crawler encounters a page having a spatial key embedded in an image, the spatial key is indexed with the other content on the page. Because the spatial key identifies a small geographic area, indexing the content with the spatial key allows search queries to be limited by area and still provide useful results. Thus, a user of a search engine searching for "house for sale" in a specific area will be directed to web pages that meet the geographic and content search terms.

摘要： An embodiment of the invention provides a method for processing a secure electronic transaction over a network from a sender to a receiver, which includes the process of generating a first unique representation of information included in the transaction, encrypting the information with a first encryption layer, and forming an encryption packet which includes the first encryption layer. The encryption packet is then transmitted over a network and then received the by a receiver. The authenticity of the encryption packet is verified and a receipt is generated using the informatio n included in the encryption packet. The receipt is then transmitted to an electronic postmark server which verifies authenticity of the receipt. A postmarked receipt is then created by the electronic postmark server and a copy is sent to the sender an/or the receiver.
