    • A tape dispensing tool (100) includes a hub (106), a fixed holder arm, and an adjustable holder arm. The hub extends through a core of a roll of tape (102). The fixed holder arm extends from the hub along a first side (116) of the roll of tape and has a fixed orientation relative to the hub. The fixed holder arm includes a first cradle (112) configured to receive a cable bundle therein. The adjustable holder arm extends from the hub along an opposite, second side (114) of the roll of tape. The adjustable holder arm includes a second cradle (110) configured to receive the cable bundle therein. The adjustable holder arm has an adjustable position relative to the hub and the fixed holder arm to select an angular position of the second cradle relative to the first cradle for setting an overlap amount as the tape is applied to the cable bundle.

    • A clamp device, for use in a method of securing at least one elongate member along the outer surface of a conduit or pipe, has a split ring or penannular form of body portion that defines a through passage into which the conduit or pipe is receivable to enable the body to substantially encircle and firmly engage the conduit or pipe. The body portion has inner and outer peripheral surfaces, with the inner peripheral surface defining the through bore. Oppositely facing side surfaces of the body portion extend between the inner and outer peripheral surfaces. Adjacent and opening to the inner or outer peripheral surface, the body defines at least one pocket extending between and opening at each side surface, with the at least one pocket able to accommodate an elongate member. With the body fitted so as to substantially encircle the conduit or pipe, the elongate member can be secured in relation to the conduit or pipe.

    • The invention relates to a mounting assembly for mounting at least one cable on an electrically conductive structure. In order to protect the structure from electric arcing or short-circuits in the event that the cable is damaged, current systems use insulating caps that are mounted on metallic mounting elements like rivets or bolts. However, it is possible to mount the cable even if these caps are not in place, for example if they have not been mounted during the assembly. This poses a potential risk as a direct line of sight between the damaged cable and a metallic mounting element is available. The application discloses a mounting assembly (1) for mounting at least one cable (2) on an electrically conductive structure (3), comprising a mounting bracket (4) that comprises at least one mounting element receptacle (5) adapted to receive at least one mounting element (6) for mounting the mounting bracket (4) to the structure (3) and that further comprises at least one cable holder device receptacle (7) adapted to receive at least one cable holder device (8) for holding the at least one cable (2) and the mounting assembly (1) further comprising a cover (9) that is mounted on the mounting bracket (4), wherein the mounting bracket (4) and the cover (9) are moveable relative to each other from a bracket mounting position (B) to a cable mounting position (C), wherein in the bracket mounting position (B) at least one mounting element receptacle (5) is accessible from a cover side (10) of the mounting bracket (4) and at least one cable holder device receptacle (7) is covered by the cover (9), and wherein in the cable mounting position (C) at least one mounting element receptacle (5) is covered by the cover (9) and at least one cable holder device receptacle (7) is accessible from a cover side of bracket 10) of the mounting bracket (4). The cover (9) thus fulfills the function of the insulating cap and prohibits access to the mounting element/s (6). Hence, the structure (3) is protected from electrical arcing in the event that a cable (2) is damaged as no direct line of sight from the cable (2) to the mounting element (6) is available.
