The engagement means are plastically deformed so that the clamp is locked in the fixing position. A tool for mounting the assembly clamp comprises a lower support surface with centring devices for positioning the clamp and a movable pressing device. At least one of the centering devices is also a deformation device for locking the clamp in the fixing position.
