    • A magnetic sign includes an aerodynamic forward-facing power module, a rechargeable power source associated with the power module, a display module, and a controller. The sign further includes a magnetic element for attaching to a metal panel. The aerodynamic forward-facing power module includes an aerodynamic housing and at least one electrical current-generating wind turbine. The power module further includes at least one electrical current-generating solar panel. The display module includes one or more light sources and at least one light-diffusing element disposed to back-light or side-light an informational display panel. The at least one light-diffusing element may provide a reverse radial gradient translucence pattern. The controller is configured to control one or more of a sign actuation, an overcharging of the rechargeable power source, and a usage of the rechargeable power source.

    • An illuminated electronic display sign suitable for a transit vehicle comprises a support frame with a mounting surface, a plurality of lighting elements (210) disposed on or attached to the mounting surface, and electronic circuitry configured to provide commands to selectively illuminate the lighting elements (210) so as to create text or other information thereon. The lighting elements (210) each comprise a semiconductor-based light source and an optical cap, each having a transparent layer portion and a diffusion layer portion. The optical caps may be generally rectangular in shape, aligned in a two-dimensional grid having rows and columns and are substantially adjacent to one another, with narrow gaps therebetween for increased display area. The optical caps may be asymmetrical, with a flat upper portion and a gradually tapering top surface to help reduce glare. A control system including wireless circuitry may be used to control multiple electronic display signs.

    • An outdoor advertisement car includes a car head (1), a car body (2), a car borne power supply (3), a central controller (16) controlling the video signal to be played on the large and small display screens (4~11), a speaker (17) fixed to outside of the car body and towards outside, a transformer (18), a number of fixed mounts (12~15), large display screens (4~7) and small display screens (8~11). The numbers of said large display screens (4~7), small display screens (8~11) and fixed mounts (12~15) are same. Each large display screen and each small display screen are connected in parallel, and said small display screens (8~11) are in said carhead (1). In every fixed mount is embedded a large display screen, and the screen of said large display screen faces outside of the car body (2). Said fixed mounts (12~15) are fixed on the external surfaces of said car body (2). The input end of said transformer (18) is electrically connected with said car borne power supply (3), so as to increase voltage and provide power supply. The operator can control the video signal to be played on the screens through controlling said central controller (16).

    • A system for displaying a banner (70) on a vehicle comprises mounting means (160) having channels (163), retaining means (112) for retaining the banner and associated with first and second locking members (124, 140) for engagement with the channels, the first locking member having a strut (134) locatable in a first channel, the second locking member having a second protruding strut (148) locatable in the same channel, and the first locking member further having a third protruding strut (135) spaced apart from the first strut and locatable within a second channel. When the locking members (124, 140) are aligned, the first strut (134) and second strut (148) are adjacent each other, the adjacent sides being parallel and the struts are located in the channels for secure attachment to the mounting means.
