摘要： A method for operating controller for controlling industrial machine by which the temperature rise of a processor can be suppressed and, even when the operation of the processor is stopped due to a temperature rise, the processor can be restarted easily and the cessation of operation of the controller due to temperature rises can be prevented as much as possible. When the temperature in the controller is lower than a set value, the controller is normally operated by performing a plurality of processes at every fixed period. When the temperature becomes higher than the set value, on the other hand, a motor is stopped by stopping the process related to the shaft of the motor, and only the processing by means of a programmable controller and a man-machine interface for display is performed at the necessary minimum, with the mode being shifted to a low-power consumption mode. As the temperature rises, in addition, the heat generation and temperature rise of the processor are suppressed by lowering the operating speed of the machine controlled by the controller.
