    • The invention allows significantly (is several times) to increase the energy of shot on account of additional increase of velocity of movement of throw agent outside of barrel of any firearm, include artillery. The accelerating missile engine realize the additional acceleration - the accelerator that work by energy of compressive powder gases and locate in case of staff ammunition inside of powder filling. It is designed as tube of a high-strength material, that capable of withstanding conditions of shot, with one end of the tube is blocked. This end tolerably install on throw agent stationary way or a throw-down variant. While it is shooting the throw agent of accelerator leaving the barrel with the pressure inside off compare to pressure in the muzzle. It's advised the moment that the bullet leave the barrel pressure of muzzle should be high (100-200 MPa and more), so the length of the barrel should be accordingly reduced to necessary high pressure. Herewith the recoil, dimensions, weight and cost of the gun will decrease, but the energy of the shot will increase. Potentiality of this present method will allow to create the fundamentally new systems of gun that will lightweight, compact, inexpensive, with shot energy is unattainable today. It will be qualitative leap in the evolution of firearms.

    • A projectile includes a leading part formed by a tip and a tip base that form a first annular shoulder where they meet. A trailing part of the projectile is formed by a base having a frusto- conical trailing end and a cylindrical leading end of truncate extent that forms a tail drive. A second annular shoulder is formed where a cylindrical rod meets the tail drive. A cylindrical interface has a leading extent abutting the first annular shoulder and a trailing end abutting the second annular shoulder. The tail drive and the trailing extent of the cylindrical interface are the only parts of the projectile that engage gun barrel rifling when the projectile is positioned in a gun barrel.
