    • Spherical solar collector comprising an globe-shaped internally hollow outer body (1A, 1R), a sealed liner provided thereinside so as to define a jacket that acts as a sunlight absorbing reservoir containing highly heat-conductive medium, a heat storage reservoir (2) provided inside the globe-shaped body (1A, 1R) and containing a working medium, a heat exchanger (3) provided inside such storage reservoir (2), fluid ducts providing a closed-loop flow-path between said sunlight absorbing reservoir and said heat exchanger (3) and including a delivery conduit (6) and a return conduit (7), a circulator (14) arranged in said fluid ducts, a supply conduit (4) and a utilization or working conduit (5) provided between the storage reservoir (3) and the outside ambient, a mass of heat-insulating material (16) covering the outer surface of the storage reservoir (3), wherein the supply (4 ), utilization (5) and return conduits (7) branch out in a continuous, unitary piece from said globe-shaped outer body. Preferably, said sunlight absorbing reservoir is formed of two reservoir halves connected in series with each other and provided in the shape of respective half-globes (1A, 1R). Said mass of heat-insulating material (16) covers also the outgoing portions of said conduits.
