Diese Wand (9) verläuft annähernd oder genau parallel zum Konus (10) des oberen Endes der Schneckenachse (3). Die Innenseite des Förderrohrs (8) ist rauh oder mit zum Beispiel Längsrippen (14) ausgerüstet, so daß das Brenngut daran Halt findet und nicht mit der Schnecke mitdreht.
