    • A valve system for a container or vat, such as a food cooking vat. The valve system includes a valve body and stem having a valve head with a sealing member. The valve body has an outlet configured to be in fluid communication with the vat, and the sealing member is in fluid communication with the outlet and the chamber and is selectively operable between a discharge position, allowing the vat's contents to drain from the chamber, and a closed position, allowing the contents to remain in the chamber. The sealing member preferably is comprised of polymer and has an O-type sealing ring interposed between a first portion and a second portion, where the diameter of the second portion is smaller than the diameter of the first portion. Embodiments may also include a snap-fit connection of the sealing member to the valve head.

    • The invention is directed to a valve (2) for gas under pressure, in particular at temperatures below -100°C, comprising a body (4) with a gas inlet (6), a gas outlet (8) and a passage (10) connecting said inlet (6) with said outlet (8); a shut-off device (12) for closing the gas passage (10); a spindle (14) designed for operating the shut-off device (12); and at least one gasket (22, 24) between the spindle (14) and the body (4). The valve further comprises at least one cavity (122, 28) around the spindle (14) for accumulating particles separated from the at least one gasket (22, 24) while operating the spindle (14) and the shut-off device (12), in particular at temperatures below -100°C.

    • Field removable bonnet assemblies for use with valves are described herein. An example field removable bonnet assembly for use with internal valves includes a body (208) that is to be removably coupled to the internal valve. The body defines a bore that is to receive a valve packing (220). Additionally, the field removable bonnet assembly includes a shaft (210) having a cam assembly (212) that is to rotatably engage a stem of the internal valve. The shaft is rotatably coupled to the body and the shaft is at least partially positioned within the bore. Further, the field removable bonnet assembly includes a removable adjuster (222) that is externally accessible to enable an adjustment of the removable adjuster relative to the body to change a force exerted by the valve packing on the shaft. The removable adjuster is field removable to replace or repair the valve packing.
