    • Eine manuell zu betätigende Verschlussvorrichtung umfasst zwei Verschlussteile, die entlang einer Schließrichtung aneinander ansetzbar, in einer Schließstellung mechanisch miteinander verbunden und durch Lösen der mechanischen Verbindung voneinander lösbar sind. Zusätzlich ist eine Verzögerungseinrichtung (5) vorgesehen, die ausgebildet ist, das Rücksteilen des Verriegelungselements (4, 82) aus der zweiten Stellung in die erste Stellung bei einer wirkenden Rückstellkraft derart zu verzögern, dass das Verriegelungselement (4, 82) erst nach Ablauf einer vorbestimmten Verzögerungszeit zurück in die erste Stellung gelangt. Auf diese Weise wird eine Verschlussvorrichtung zur Verfügung gestellt, die auf einfache Weise bedient, insbesondere geöffnet und geschlossen werden kann und in der Schließstellung eine sichere Verriegelung zur Verfügung stellt.

    • A pawl latch (10) having a pin assembly (12) with a pin (22) and a receiver assembly (14) adapted to receive the pin assembly (12). The receiver assembly (14) includes a receiver housing (40) having a slider (50) positioned slidably on the receiver housing (40), a cam (54) rotatably mounted in the receiver housing (40), and a link (58) connecting the cam (54) and the slider (50). The arms (61) of the pawl (60) are rotated in order to lock the pin head (27) of the pin assembly (12) within the receiver assembly (14).

    • This invention relates to a bolt housing (12), and in particular to housing (12) for a sliding bolt (20); to a pair of bolt housings (12, 14), to an assembly thereof for the securement of a first housing (12) relative to a second housing (14), and to panels fitted with one of the said housings (12, 14). Thus, there is provided a bolt housing (12) which includes a bolt (20) and bolt guide means (16, 18), the bolt (20), having a bolt tip, the bolt (20) being slidably mountable in the guide means (16, 18), the housing (12) having a surface (29) beyond which the bolt tip can project, the guide means (16, 18) being at an acute angle to the said surface (29). There is also provided a bolt assembly comprising a bolt housing (12) as defined herein, the said housing (12) being a first housing, and the said bolt guide means (16, 18) being a first bolt guide means, the assembly including a second housing (14), the second housing (14) having second bolt guide means (36, 38), the second bolt guide means (36, 38) being alignable with the first bolt guide means (16, 18), the bolt (20) being movable into and out of the second bolt guide means (36, 38) when the said first (16, 18) and second bolt guide means (36, 38) are aligned. The bolt can only be moved by the handle into the open position when the actuating element is simultaneously held in its position in which the locking connection is released.
