    • Disclosed is a yellow ink composition suitable for inkjet recording, which has good printing quality and good colorant fixability to a recorded matter. The hue and ozone resistance of the yellow ink composition can be adjusted, while maintaining high light resistance. Also disclosed are an ink set and an ink cartridge each using the yellow ink composition, an inkjet recording method using them, and a recorded matter. Specifically disclosed is a yellow ink composition containing a compound represented by the formula (I) below and a compound represented by the formula (II) below as a colorant.
