摘要： The present invention relates to a method (10) for producing a lid for a secondary package, said secondary package intended to encase primary packages, wherein said method (10) comprises folding the lid from a cardboard blank (80), comprising side areas (82) along a length of the blank, and the method (10) comprises the steps of: picking (11) the cardboard blank (80) from a magazine (43) with a picking unit (42); moving (12) the picking unit, holding the cardboard blank (80) to a position adjacent to a folding unit (41); transferring (13) the cardboard blank (80) from the picking unit (42) to the folding unit (41), whereby the folding unit (41) acts as an anvil and the picking unit (42) acts as a stamp; thereby folding (14) the side areas (82) of the cardboard blank (80) to form long lid sides, and forming (15) short edges of the cardboard blank (80) to short lid sides by folding them and holding them together, to form the lid for the secondary package. The invention also relates to an apparatus for performing the method.
