    • The present invention is a mold (2) and a process for preparing a ready-to-use hot pour material, such as a cosmetic article and the like, in a mold (FIG. 4). The process comprises the steps of providing a mold (2) for casting hot pour material (50), the mold (2) having a top part (30) with a pour space (40) and a base part (4), applying hot pour material (50) into the mold (2) through the pour space (40) and allowing the hot pour material (50) to cool, removing the top part (30) of the mold (2), wherein the hot pour material (50) remains in the base part (4) of the mold, placing a first receptacle (70) in contact with the hot pour material (50), and introducing fluid pressure through the base part (4) to release the hot pour material (50) in the first receptacle (70). The mold (2) may be customized by including projections, recesses, and combinations thereof, to provide for a hot pour material that is embossed, debossed, or both.

    • The invention relates to a device and a method for separating a moulded substrate from a stamping tool. The aim of the invention is to ensure that the substrate is removed from the mould reliably and without a significant risk of damaging expensive components. A closeable chamber is made up of two chamber parts (1, 2) which can be displaced in relation to each other and which support the stamping tool (3) or the mouldable substrate (5). Said chamber contains a substrate holder (16) which, when the chamber is closed, fixes the substrate (5) to its support outside of the stamping area. When the chamber is opened, the substrate (5) then separates from the stamping tool (3). The inventive device and method can be used for producing components of microsystem technologies.
