    • A casting machine for fabrication of precast concrete structural members, which includes side walls and end dams which are all movable from an open position to a closed position, and a bottom casting surface, where the bottom casting surface, side walls, and end dams serving to form a mold surrounding a cavity configured to contain wet concrete. Concrete is poured into the cavity when the self-releasing mold is in closed position. The side walls, and end dams are automatically movable to the open position when the concrete has solidified so that a precast concrete structural member is automatically released from the self-releasing mold. Also a precast modular system for automated concrete structural member fabrication, which includes a concrete mixing system, a concrete delivery subsystem, a block transport subsystem, and a plurality of casting machines, where each casting machine includes a self-releasing mold.

    • A paver may include a paver body and at least two slots running through the paver body from one side to another side. The slots may be parallel to an upper surface of the paver body. The slots further may be aligned according to the paver's orientation in a larger paver pattern such that, when multiple pavers are assembled according to the pattern, the slots of individual pavers cooperate to generate extended channels throughout the pattern. Thus, the principles of the present invention permit manufacturers to assemble paver mats made of a plurality of the pavers weaved together by a plurality of fastening cables that fit within one or more extended channels. In one embodiment, a core puller may be used to create slots in the paver body.

    • The process for manufacturing building elements (6) for making walls using filling material, particularly earth or the like, comprises the following steps : - providing at least one basic mould (1) and at least a second mould (2) substantially hollow and open on the bottom and which can be coupled at the top with the first mould to define an inner cavity (4) for forming a building element; - positioning the second mould above the first mould; - filling the inner cavity with a building material (M) in a substantially fluid state; - allowing the building material to consolidate inside the inner cavity of the moulds for a first preset period of time until a semi-rigid semi-finished product is obtained; - lifting the second mould, leaving the semi-rigid semi-finished product at the top of the first mould; - allowing the semi-rigid semi-finished product to harden at the top of the first mould for a second preset period of time until the building element (E) is obtained; - removing the building element from the first mould.

    • A block has a finished surface that provides an attractive appearance.
