    • The present invention is directed to a cutter (300) having a blade cartridge (350), a grip (330) for handling by a user and a coupling arrangement for coupling the cartridge (350) to the grip (330) in such a manner to prevent undesired rotation of the cartridge (350) with respect to the grip (330). The blade cartridge includes a blade (351), an upper cover (353), and a lower cover (354), the blade (351) being rotatably supported therebetween. The upper cover (353) is further provided with a locking protrusion (352a) at one end and a locking recess (352b). The locking protrusion (352a) is inserted into a locking aperture (341) that is carried by the grip (330), thereby acting against a spring biased pusher (332) within the aperture. The grip (330) further carries a spring biased locking member (342) that meets with the locking recess (352b) of the upper cover (353). To attach the blade cartridge (350) to the grip (330), the locking protrusion (352a) is inserted into the locking aperture (341), against the spring biased pusher (332). The cartridge is then rotated 90 DEG clockwise, thereby locking the protrusion (352a) in the aperture (341). This rotation also causes the locking member (342) to move into engagement with the locking recess (352b). To release the blade cartridge (350) from the grip (330), a release knob (344) that is operatively coupled to the locking member (342) is actuated, thereby moving the member (342) out of engagement with the recess (352b). The blade cartridge (350) can then be rotated 90 DEG counterclockwise. In this position, the spring biased pusher (332) acts against the locking protrusion (352a), thereby detaching the cartridge (350) from the grip (330).
