摘要： The present invention relates to billiard table for special competition, comprising of table panel, table edge, and table panel supporting plate and leg, table edge being disposed around of table panel. The table panel also includes component part 18 besides of adhesive strip, rail, bolt, screw nut and woolen cloth. The cushion (31) includes an extruded member (32) having a substantially triangular or L-shaped cross-section and a layer of tape (33) on one surface thereof for affixing the cushion (31) to a billiard table. Also disclosed is an improved cue (20) for billiards wherein a substantial portion of the weight of the cue (20) is disposed in a distal portion (4) of the cue located near the tip (21) of the cue. The cue (20) is preferably modular to allow substitution of various portions of the cue to permit it to be customized to a specific player. Also disclosed is a device (12) for metering the speed of the surface of a billiard table. Also disclosed is a quick change tip for a cue which includes an elastomeric material that is sized to snugly fit over the distal end of a cue to releasably secure the quick-change tip to the cue.

摘要： A method and system are provided for identifying when and which robot targets fall into which pockets of a billiard table or pass through gates in the walls of a perimeter boundary, as well as boundary walls and gates that may be used to form various shaped playing areas. The identification of a robot target in a pocket may be used for scoring traditional games of pocket billiards, or for scoring robotic based games played on the surface of the billiard table. The identification sensor in certain embodiments may be mounted on the user configurable gates. Numeric values may be printed on the face of the robot targets to determine a winner of a game based on a total score of values of those robot targets knocked in by a player by themselves or by controlling a robot that pushes the robot targets.

摘要： A game table fabric (10) to be applied to the game table bed of a game table is provided, wherein the game table fabric comprises a woolen fabric (18) having a nonpermanent releasable adhesive (16) applied to a back side of the woolen fabric so that the game table fabric may be directly applied to the game table bed and the game table fabric of the present invention is readily repositionable during installation and removable after an extended period of use. The nonpermanent releasable adhesive is formed of a low tack polymeric material which is suitable for releasably adhering the game table fabric to the game table bed. By applying the game table fabric of the present invention directly to the game table bed, the use of additional glues or adhesives to adhere the game table fabric to the game table bed is essentially eliminated.

摘要： This invention is a unitary, common design of a game table (10) that may be used as a pocket or snooker pool table or as a carom billiard table in either an outdoor or an indoor environment and as either a coin-operated table or a non-coin-operated table has a low profile in elevation and is substantially made of synthetic, non-naturally occurring materials. The apparatus includes a table (11) having perimeter sides (18) supported by a plurality of legs (22) and a bed (54) supported by the table defining a horizontal playing surface. A rail (16) above the bed (54) supports a ball cushion (14) substantially surrounding the playing surface. The perimeter side members (18) are extrusions and the bed may be made of a non-naturally occurring material having a hardness at least as great as that of slate, such as tempered glass. The cushion (14) includes an extruded base (70), a resilient nose (72) affixed to the base, and a fabric cover (78) extending over the nose and affixed to the base.
