摘要： The present disclosure relates to aerosol delivery devices and related methods of delivering aerosol to a user. The aerosol delivery devices may include a housing providing multiple aerosol pathways having a mouth-end opening through which aerosol can be inhaled by a user, the housing defining a first aerosol delivery pathway in fluid communication with the mouth-end opening and a second aerosol delivery pathway separate from the first aerosol delivery pathway and in fluid communication with the mouth-end opening. An atomizer including a heating element or piezoelectric element and a liquid transport element in fluid communication with an aerosol precursor composition is provided in fluid communication with the first aerosol delivery pathway. A flavorant-infused material is positioned within the second aerosol delivery pathway and adapted to produce a second aerosol upon contact between the flavorant-infused material and flowing air.

The handheld vaporizer may comprise: a housing assembly, having a transparent portion on which a digital readout can be displayed, a ceramic chamber having an opening to provide access within a receptacle portion of said ceramic chamber, a mouthpiece assembly adapted to removably couple to said housing assembly; a heating element coupled to a ceramic chamber and configured to be turned on and off by a power button; and a display screen to provide a desired temperature readout or setting of said ceramic chamber. The ceramic chamber may also comprises a plurality of air inlets located at a distal end of said ceramic chamber to direct airflow into the receptacle portion of the ceramic chamber and towards an exit of said mouthpiece assembly.

摘要： The invention relates to sensing compositional information about material by measuring thermal properties of the material. In one arrangement there is provided a needle probe for sensing compositional information. The probe comprises a needle (2) having a tip region. A resistive element (5) is attached to the needle at the tip region. A measurement system is configured to: 1) drive an electrical current through the resistive element to apply heating to the resistive element, and 2) measure an electrical response of the resistive element to the heating. A processing unit analyses the measured electrical response of the resistive element to the heating to determine compositional information about material in contact with the tip region.

摘要： There is provided an aerosol generating device (100), comprising an inhalation outlet (140); a chamber (120) for holding a material, the material capable of generating a vapour when heated; a heater (130) for heating material held in the chamber; an air inlet (170) connected by an air inlet passage (171) to the chamber; a vapour- cooling module (150) providing a fluidic connection between the chamber and inhalation outlet, the module configured to cool a vapour passing there through. In use, suction at the inhalation outlet causes air to enter the chamber via the air inlet, thereby transporting the vapour generated in the chamber through the vapour-cooling module to the inhalation outlet, such that the temperature of the vapour exiting the device through the inhalation outlet is substantially lower than the temperature of the vapour generated in the chamber. The aerosol generating device thereby provides a means whereby a vapour generated in the chamber is substantially cooled during transport from the chamber through the mouthpiece to the user.
