摘要： The application discloses a multi-chamber, multi-formulation fluid delivery system, comprising a multi-chamber applicator in fluid communication with multi-chamber packaging. Applicators according to the instant disclosure have reduced squeeze-strength requirements, and are useful for dispensing fluids, including medicaments, to animals, including livestock animals. The multi-chamber packaging provides separate storage for formulations containing incompatible active ingredients, and is suitable for use with the multi-chamber applicator. The application also discloses methods for using the system to simultaneously deliver multiple active ingredients, at least some of which are not suitable for co-formulation, thus reducing the time, economic burden and animal stress involved with applying multiple, separate formulations to animals.

摘要： The present invention includes syringes with valves. The valves control communication between the interior of a barrel of the syringe and the exterior of the barrel. In syringes that include two valves, the valves may be oriented opposite one another, such that one of the valves may enable fluid to flow into the interior of the barrel of the syringe while preventing fluid from flowing in the opposition direction, while the other valve may enable fluid to flow out of the interior of the barrel while preventing fluid from flowing tin the opposite direction. Alternatively, a syringe may include a single valve, which is carried at or near a distal end of its plunger. Methods for using such syringes, including, but not limited to, manual pulsed aspiration methods and manual pulsed delivery methods, are also disclosed.

摘要： A syringe-like device having a chamber in which a pressurizing piston reciprocates. The chamber is connected on one end to a vial containing a drug to be delivered to any eye and on the other end to a needle or cannula for administrering the drug to an eye. Pulling proximally backwards on the piston creates a vacuum in the chamber and draws the drug out of the vial. Upon release of the piston, a spring pushes the piston forward, pressurizing the chamber and forcing the drug out of the cannula. A one-way valve prevents the drug from being expelled back into the vial. A pinch valve between the chamber and the cannula allows the flow of the drug out of the cannula to be stopped. The flow rate of the drug out of the cannula can be controlled by varying the size of the chamber, piston and spring.

摘要： The present invention relates to an injection device for injecting a pharmaceutical liquid drug containing a preservative. The injection device comprises a housing (1) supporting a cartridge (20) having an interior chamber (21) holding the pharmaceutical preservative containing liquid drug to be injected, and a needle cannula (10) having a front part (11) and a back part (12), which back part (12) is adapted to be in liquid communication with the interior chamber (21) of the cartridge (20). The injection device is further provided with a telescopic needle covering shield (30) which distally is provided with a reservoir (31) which holds a liquid containing the same preservatives as in the pharmaceutical preservative containing liquid drug contained in the interior chamber of the cartridge. The telescopic needle covering shield (30) is telescopic movable in relation to the needle cannula (10) by a first resilient member between a first position and a second position. In the first position, the tip (13) of the front part (11) of the needle cannula (10) is maintained inside the reservoir (31), and in the second position, the tip (13) of the front part (11) of the needle cannula (10) is located outside the reservoir (31) and distally to the reservoir (31). The tip (13) of the needle cannula (10) is thus cleaned by the preservatives in the reservoir (31) between subsequent injections.
