摘要： A Face Mask to abolish " difficult mask ventilation" in unconscious patients by viewing the wind pipe while delivering oxygen and incorporating channels on the face mask. The face mask makes it possible to oxygenate/ventilate an unconscious patient while securing a definitive airway by endotracheal intubation. The anesthetic face mask incorporates channels through which an "airway slider" fitted with a camera is inserted inside the patient's mouth, when the patient is unconscious. The airway-slider simplifies maneuvering the endotracheal tube in to the patient's windpipe thus achieving a definitive clear airway with the use of just one device as opposed to the practice of needing multiple devices for the same in current anesthetic practice.

摘要： An apparatus for monitoring EMG signals of a patient's laryngeal muscles includes an endotracheal tube having an exterior surface. Conductive ink electrodes are formed on the exterior surface of the endotracheal tube. The conductive ink electrodes are configured to receive the EMG signals from the laryngeal muscles when the endotracheal tube is placed in a trachea of the patient. At least one conductor is coupled to the conductive ink electrodes and is configured to carry the EMG signals received by the conductive ink electrodes to a processing apparatus.

Each of the cylindrical sleeves (132, 134) covers the handle (114) and the branch member (118), respectively. As a result, the laryngoscope (112) itself is shielded from contact with the interior of the mouth and the larynx. Once the cover (110) is used, it may be discarded. Accordingly, cleaning and sterilization of the laryngoscope (112) are substantially facilitated and hygienic operation of the laryngoscope (112) is improved.
