    • A cooking device may include a refractory oven and a housing. The refractory oven may define a cooking chamber that may be configured to receive thermal energy from an external heat source. The refractory oven may further define an opening configured to allow foodstuffs to be introduced into the cooking chamber. The refractory oven may be further configured to substantially surround the foodstuffs while the foodstuffs are positioned inside the cooking chamber. The housing may at least partially surround the refractory oven. The housing and the refractory oven may define a heated volume between an external surface of the refractory oven and an internal surface of the housing. The heated volume may be configured to receive thermal energy from the external heat source and to reduce transfer of thermal energy from the cooking chamber through refractory oven.

    • The present invention relates to a roaster, which includes a main body in a certain shape having an insulating wall element at an outer surface for keeping warmth, a ceramic case formed of far infrared ceramic materials and heat-resistant materials in a certain shape and mounted in the main body with an opening/closing door integrating roasting dies to move in association with rails, a combustion die coupled with a top part of the ceramic case, and a fuel case mounted at an upper part of the combustion die and covered by a sealing lid, so that heat generated by combustion advances downward to heat an outer surface of the ceramic case. According to the present invention, heat and ashes move downward by driving a fan motor so that waste heat is discharged via a smoke pipe and ashes are discharged via an ash discharge hole. An internal temperature of the ceramic case is kept at an optimum temperature for roasting food by controlling an rpm of the fan motor. The roasting plate is preheated in preheating chambers for keeping the roasted food at the optimum temperature during serving thereof after the food is roasted through clean, convenient, safe and energy-saving circumstances of the roaster.
