    • The liquid-dispensing hair brush (110) includes various embodiments, each having an internal reservoir (15) for a hair grooming liquid (29). The liquid (29) (oil, tonic, gel, etc.) is released from the reservoir (15) to pass through passages or pores (22, 23) in the teeth (21) or bristles of the brush (110), for application to the hair and scalp simultaneously with the brushing of the hair. Certain embodiments have controls (24) upon the handles (26), for releasing and/or pressurizing the contents of the reservoir (15) to flow from the reservoir (15) and out through the teeth (21) and/or bristles. Another embodiment includes a pneumatic bulb (30) for applying air pressure to the reservoir (15). Yet another embodiment includes an internal plate (34) with a series of stops (36) extending therefrom, the stops (36) corresponding to the internal pores (22, 23) of each of the teeth (21) or bristles.

    • A paint applicator, kit and methodology for using the same is disclosed. A paint applicator (100) that allows a user to load a desired amount of paint, such as a water based or other low VOC paint, into the paint applicator and an advancement mechanism (105) that dispenses paint at a rate controllable by the user is disclosed. The advancement mechanism (105) includes a system that translates a rotational force applied to an end cap (130) of the applicator into a linear force that advances a piston (185) which in turn supplies paint to an applicator portion (120). The paint applicator may be reusable or may include a ratchet system (435, 475) that allows for only one time use. The methodology and kit can incorporate a syringe for loading paint into the paint applicator, thus reducing the loss of paint through spilling.
