摘要： The present invention concerns a device which can be moved over a field for measuring the output of root crops (4), such as beets, turnips or chicory, while they are being harvested, which is equipped with a sensor plate (18) against which the crops (4) are guided, and with a drive instrument (9, 10, 11) which subjects the crops (4) to an at least partially bent flow and puts them in contact with the above-mentioned sensor plate (18), which is provided with means for measuring the above-mentioned output, whereby said drive instrument (9, 10, 11) is mounted such in relation to the sensor plate (18) that the harvested crops (4) are carried along by the drive instrument (9, 10, 11) along and against the sensor plate (18).

摘要： An agricultural vehicle is provided with means for continuously sensing the weight of an accumulated payload and a GPS navigation system (18). Weight and positional information, and optionally also sensed vehicle speed, are analysed in an analysis/display unit (14) and a map generated of e.g. weight/hectare. The principal application is an agricultural trailer with payload weight sensors (15), towed by a tractor with GPS and analysis systems. A map of yield of e.g. a root crop may be generated as the crop is harvested and continuously deposited into the trailer as it moves along.

摘要： A ground-crop harvester for potatoes and the like includes an excavating means, a primary conveyor and a dowstream conveyor to reveive the separated ground-crop. A primary conveyor adjustable speed drive mechanism is provided for the primary conveyor. A downstream conveyor adjustable speed drive mechanism is provided for the downstream conveyor. A speed measurer is provided for sensing the forward speed of the harvester and for emitting signals representative of the speed. A sensor is provided for sensing an amount of product conveyed by the downstream conveyor and for emitting signals representative of the amount. And, a controller is provided that controls the primary conveyor adjustable speed drive mechanism to vary the speed of the primary conveyor based on the signals from the speed sensing means (e.g., so as to maintain a constant predetermined ratio of the primary conveyor speed to the forward speed) and that controls the downstream conveyor adjustable speed drive mechanism to vary the speed of the downstream conveyor based on the signals from the amount sensing means (e.g., so as to maintain a consistent level, or height, of product on the downstream conveyor).
