摘要： We propose and validate a novel nonlinear artificial neural network (ANN) equalizer for PAM-8 transmission in IM/DD system. Mini-batch gradient descent is introduced to efficiently train ANN equalizer. Using the proposed ANN equalizer, we successfully transmit a 40Gbaud PAM-8 signal over 4-km SMF with BER under the threshold of 3.8 x 10 -3 and over 10-km SMF with BER under the threshold of 1 χ 10 -2. We also elaborately compare the proposed ANN equalizer with other methods including LMS equalizer, Volterra equalizer and look-up table (LUT). Experimental results indicate that ANN achieves the best performance that is slightly superior to Volterra equalizer with computational complexity exponentially reduced. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first time to adopt mini-batch gradient descent to train ANN equalizer in IM/DD system.

摘要： A method for metallizing a through silicon via feature in a semiconductor integrated circuit device substrate. The method comprises immersing the semiconductor integrated circuit device substrate into an electrolytic copper deposition composition, wherein the through silicon via feature has an entry dimension between 1 micrometers and 100 micrometers, a depth dimension between 20 micrometers and 750 micrometers, and an aspect ratio greater than about 2:1; and supplying electrical current to the electrolytic deposition composition to deposit copper metal onto the bottom and sidewall for bottom-up filling to thereby yield a copper filled via feature. The deposition composition comprises (a) a source of copper ions; (b) an acid selected from among an inorganic acid, organic sulfonic acid, and mixtures thereof; (c) an organic disulfide compound; (d) a compound selected from the group consisting of a reaction product of benzyl chloride and hydroxyethyl polyethyleneimine, a quaternized dipyridyl compound, and a combination thereof; and (d) chloride ions.

摘要： A method and evaluation node (204) for enabling a user equipment (200) in wireless communication to change from a currently used first connection (C1) to a target second connection (C2). The evaluation node measures (2:2) a data amount communicated by the user equipment when in a certain location area and using the first connection (C1) over a measuring period, and a change condition is evaluated (2:3) based on the measured data amount. 摘要： The present invention relates to methods for isolating specific types of cells from the nematode Caenorhabditis elegans, isolating RNA therfrom and amplifiying the collected RNA to produce amplified nucleic acid, exposing the amplified nucleic acid, under hybridization conditions, to a collection of reference nucleic acids representative of a plurality of nematode genes, and identifying the particular reference nucleic acids which hybridize. The reference nucleic acids that hybridize more strongly, particularly those that exhibit greater hybridization relative to control hybridization levels obtained using neucleic acid collected from other C. elegans cells or the general population of C. elegans cells, may represent genes that are selectively expressed in the specific cell type isolated. The nucleic acid sequences fo the flanking regions of the cell type specific genes isolated may be analyzed to identify cell type specific expression elements.
