摘要： In a telecommunications network, an incoming connection request to a primary (mobile) device may be terminated at a selected secondary device based on location information (WiFi connectivity, GPS location, Bluetooth connection). Similarly, a user may move an existing connection from the primary device to the secondary device, and back, by simple interaction with the primary device. A Mobile Device Application (MDA) resident in the primary device may control the termination and movement of connection requests and connections.

摘要： A communication system can include terminal devices that communicate with a social network or a computer server device for scheduling use of conference resources and/or for using conference appliances that may be located in a conference room being used for a video conference or teleconference. The communication system can be configured to permit a user to use such resources without having to have a user's device be physically and directly connected by wiring to a conference appliance or communication device. The communication system can also be configured to validate participants to help ensure that only authorized personnel are properly attending a scheduled conference based on audio and/or video input received for the different participants and can also be configured to allow screen sharing to be performed during a video conference or teleconference.

摘要： A second terminal sends a request to initiate a communication session with a first terminal to a server, the first terminal subscribing to call forwarding on No Reply, CFNR, supplementary service. The server signals the first terminal to initiate the communication session. The first terminal determines an offset amount based upon the redirection timer information. The offset amount is added to or subtracted from a redirection timer value to determine a modified redirection timer value that takes into account time that elapses between messaging exchanged between the server and the first terminal that affects the first terminal determination of an amount of time remaining in a redirection timer of the server such that the determined modified redirection timer value is equal in value or substantially equal in value to the amount of time remaining in the redirection timer of the server. The first terminal may be configured to display indicia based on the determined modified redirection timer value so a user can understand the amount of time remaining in the redirection timer of the server. The first terminal may be configured to pause the counting down of the redirection timer of the server by sending a pause message to the server and subsequently account for an offset amount to take into account time that elapses between pause related messaging exchanged between the server and first terminal so that the first terminal is able to have a generally accurate determination as to a current value of the server redirection timer. After the pausing of the redirection timer is over, the first terminal can resume counting down of the modified redirection timer value and displaying indicia identifying the counting down of the modified redirection timer value. The first terminal may also be configured to exchange communications with the server to have the redirection timer value of the server be increased from a first default value to account for the first terminal being in a pre-specified state (e.g. a sleep state or screen lock state).
