    • This device for stabilizing sealed gas pressure comprises a hollow unit (10) which has a first pipe (11) of conductance C u, a second pipe (12) of conductance C u and a third pipe (13) of conductance C u connected with each other. The conductance C u is lower than both conductances C u and C u. The first pipe (11) is connected to a gas source (15) containing the same gas as a desired gas to be sealed within a bulb (1), the second pipe (12) is connected to a pressure reducing system (17), and the third pipe (13) is connected to the bulb (2). The conductances C u and C u are so set that the gas pressure within the third pipe (13) is equal to or lower than the desired gas pressure within the bulb (1) under a condition where the gas from the gas source (15) steadily flows from the first pipe (11) to the second pipe (12).

    • An apparatus for forming an organic polymer thin film not to be decomposed or deteriorated, by effectively polymerizing a polymerizable organic compound monomer onto a base plate under the use of plasma. This apparatus comprises a reactor (10) retaining a base plate (12), a microwave discharge tube (20) for feeding into the reactor (10) a carrier gas activated by microwave discharge, activating microwave-generating means (30) equipped with cavity resonator (31) for microwave discharge, means for feeding said carrier gas into microwave discharge tube (20), and means for feeding said polymerizable organic compound monomer into reactor (10). A plasma-forming zone (24) does not reach and is completely separated from reactor (10). The base plate having formed thereon the organic polymer thin film obtained by means of this apparatus is utilized as photo sensors, temperature sensors, optical filters, etc.

    • Electronic circuits mounted on printed circuit boards, particularly circuits used for television receivers, are placed on a palette which is transferred by a conveyer. During transfer, test probes check whether or not the necessary parts are on the board as well as the suitability of their values to discriminate between defective circuit boards and those that pass. Then test probes monitor the characteristics of the parts and, if any require adjustment, this is automatically performed by a control circuit which controls a driver circuit. When the operational characteristics cannot be brought into predetermined limits by such adjustment, the circuit board is rejected as being defective. Thus, only circuit boards which have been properly adjusted are selected. In this manner, the selection and necessary adjustments may be made rapidly on a single conveyer line.
